This turkey template ice cream cake mold can be used for of variety of deserts like: ice cream cakes, ice molds, gelatin molds, candy mold and more. Not for use in the oven. Below is a recipe for a quick and easy cake / candy idea.
Double Delicious Desert Cake -Bake any flavor cake mix according to directions on the box. When cake is cooled crumble the cake into small pieces in a bowl. Add 3/4 tub of any flavor frosting and mix together. Set cake aside. Melt any flavor candy melts in a double broiler. Coat the bottom and sides of the mold with the candy melts and place in the refrigerator until the candy is hard. Recoat the bottom and sides again with the melted candy and let harden again. Then lightly pack the cake mixture into the candy lined mold leaving approximately 1/4" space from the top of the mold. Top the cake mixture with the melted candy and place into the refrigerator again until candy is hard to the touch. Turn mold onto a serving dish and lightly press the top of the mold until cake releases from the mold.
