The BR-M7110 with its 2-piston construction it is perfect for Cross Country use. Compared to its predecessor a quicker piston retraction leads to superior modulation what results in an improved braking control. The pads in combination with the light 2-piston caliper guarantee extremely good deceleration.
The two piston calipers can run resin or metal pads, with or without the Ice Tech cooling fins. Note that the XTR caliper can only run 140 or 160mm rotors, while the XT and SLX versions can run up to 180mm rotors.
